MEJI Staff Join Lt. Gov. Gilchrist in March for Medicaid
Michigan Elder Justice Initiative staff members Michael Daeschlein, Yosué González, Matt Nagaj, and Rachel Richards attended the Protect MI Care coalition’s March for Medicaid on July 30th—Medicaid and Medicare’s 61st anniversary. Michigan’s Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist led the march at the State Capitol, and then opened for a group of speakers advocating for protecting Medicaid. Following the speakers, MEJI staffed a table and shared materials with community members.
