The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has officially announced the new MI Health Link Ombudsman program. You can view the press release here. The MI Health Link Ombudsman (MHLO) is a project of the Michigan Elder Justice Initiative and our partners at the Counsel and Advocacy Law Line (CALL), another non-profit legal services program for low income Michiganians. The Ombudsman phone line is open Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm and can be reached toll free at 1-888-746-MHLO (1-888-746-6456). The Ombudsman can also be reached at help@MHLO.org.
