Low enrollment for dual-eligible patients frustrates some providers

Michigan faces lower enrollment rates and higher disenrollment rates than expected during the first year of its demonstration project to coordinate care for dually enrolled Medicare and Medicaid patients.

But its experience is similar to other 10 states that are in different stages of development, experts told Crain's. Four additional states have received approval and are in start-up phases.
